The World of Lexica is a tablet-based educational Role Playing game with action elements by Amplify Education. Amplify contracted Schell Games to help them develop a game that would encourage reading in elementary and middle school students while introducing them to figures from classic literature.

Contributions:

  • Core combat systems design & balance.

  • Content design for several of the game's levels.

  • Managed a team of 3 level designers for building out expansion content for the game.

  • Collaborated with lead narrative designer to ensure narrative & gameplay progression and coherency across all levels.

  • Assisted directors group in managing the client / developer relationship with Amplify.
